2026-YKS Guide — Explanations of Program Table Column Numbers (Footnotes)

This text has been compiled from the "Explanations Regarding Table 3 and Table 4" section of the guide (pp. 16-17). Table-3 (Associate Degree, 13 columns) and Table-4 (Bachelor's Degree, 24 columns) largely share the same structure, so they have been merged into a single list. Table-3 / Table-4 — Merged Program Columns (24 fields)

1. PROGRAM CODE The code of the higher education program to which placement will be made at the university. Associate + Bachelor's
2. PROGRAM NAME The name of the program (for Table-3, the province/district where the education takes place is indicated in parentheses, if applicable). Associate + Bachelor's
3. DURATION The duration of the program (years). Associate + Bachelor's
4. SCORE TYPE The type of score used when admitting students to the program. Associate + Bachelor's
5. GENERAL QUOTA The number of students to be admitted from the general quota. Associate + Bachelor's
6. VALEDICTORIAN QUOTA The quota reserved for school valedictorians. Associate + Bachelor's
7. MEB (MoNE) The number of students to be supported on a scholarship basis by the Ministry of National Education, subject to certain conditions. Bachelor's only
8. MARTYR & VETERAN QUOTA The quota reserved for spouses and children of martyrs, spouses and children of veterans, and veteran candidates themselves. Associate + Bachelor's

  • "Bachelor's only" fields (7, 13–16, 19–24) do not exist at all in Table-3 (Associate Degree); these cards come exclusively from Table-4.
  • Fields 13–16: faculty information is not provided for programs abroad, TRNC-national/Open Education/Distance Education/Double Diploma (UOLP, SUNY, etc.) programs, MTOK, some programs taught in a foreign language, and programs where education continues at another institution. Data is based on YÖKSİS records dated 17.07.2026.
  • Exam success data in fields 19–24 refers to the most recent exam whose results had been announced as of 01.06.2026.
  • Blank/unmarked field → The quota was not filled through central placement in 2025-YKS.
